in Fukuoka, is perhaps Dasaifu Tenman gu shrine, and Mt. Houman is the mountain which holds the shrine.
So Mt. Houman is love of Fukuoka citizen, and it is sometimes said it is like Mt. Takao for Tokyo citizen... you will see so many hikers there.
Not just for Hikers, Mt. Houman is a mountain for local alpine climbers who want to do some load carry training, and... to our surprise, crack climbers, too!
The mountain has a tiny crack area, called "Chigo Otoshi" and "Tsurifune Iwa".

5.8 crack
This is 5.8 crack which has no name, it starts with wide, then it will be a hand size jam... I am a bit short for hand jam to reach...

This hand jam crack is difficult after the crack. The crack it self is 5.8, pleasant hand jamming, so I like this one up to T shaped plalce... after that, you need to be very flexible to do a high step and be strong with body to do under holed to horizontal crack... even after that, you need to be so tall to reach a good crimp above, otherwise where is nothing to hold on to...
so we were satisfied with these...
