Climber's Guest House
My dream of making a climbers guest house in Japan has a such burden... now I had realized;
1) Japanese crags has too many "unqualified bolts" that has less than 15kN strengths, which is a way below the international standard, so taking foreign guests to those crags is rather serving sh☆ts than hospitality...
2) Japanese developer climbers, who are usually old retired climbers, are not aware of this facts.
So even though I have a pretty good perspective that I would be a perfect fit to a guest house owner and hostess to climbers who visits Japan, I had decided to postpone my idea to carry out...
Japan is a way behind the world's standard and what needed is catching up.
To catch up, what we need is REALIZING what we are doing is wrong, so many developer climbers are still using the bolts which only meet 20 YEARS ago strength standard which is a way behind today's standard, i.e, they are creating more TROUBLE than contributing... without realizing.
