I’ve gone twice and camped at Marwari-meidaira both times. The camping is pretty comfortable with access to shower, onsen, and running water. I’ve seen locals sleeping the van but I’m unsure of the “official rules”.
We would commute every other day to town and stock on food/grocery. Managing trash is also pretty tricky so be sure to plan for it.
As for Mizugaki, we just plan our days and commute to Mizugaki for when we want to climb there. (around 40 mins). The camping there, I’ve been told isn’t as nice as mawari-meidaira but feel free to try.
I’d love to hear more about your camper van cost. We would normally rent a small van or eco car as we try to cap our cost over weeks of staying
これまでに2回行きましたが、どちらも廻り目平キャンプ場を利用しました。キャンプ場はかなり快適で、シャワー、温泉、水道が使えます。地元の人たちがバンで寝泊まりしているのは見かけましたが、「公式のルール」がどうなっているのかはよく分かりません。
私たちは1日おきに町へ買い出しに行き、食料や日用品を調達していました。ゴミの管理もかなり難しいので、その点はしっかりと計画しておくことをお勧めします。
瑞牆（みずがき）については、登りに行く日に合わせて予定を組み、通っていました（車で40分ほどです）。あそこのキャンプ場は廻り目平ほど快適ではないと聞いていますが、試してみる分には良いかもしれません。
キャンピングカーの費用について、ぜひ詳しく教えてください。私たちは数週間の滞在で費用を抑えたいので、普段は小さなバンやエコカーを借りるようにしています。
